Professor Valery Konyshev is a member of the PRPI – BRICS Engagement Forum Steering Committee.
Professor Konyshev is Professor of the Department of Theory and History of International Relations at St. Petersburg State University’s School of International Relations. His research interests include American foreign policy, security studies in Arctic region, Arctic policies of BRICS members, military strategy and International Relations theory. In 2002-03, Prof. Konyshev was Fulbright Scholar at Boston University. He is a member of the International Studies Association.
