On behalf of Polar Research and Policy Initiative (PRPI) and the Thomson Reuters Foundation, we are pleased to invite you to an evening on ‘The Changing Subarctic: Urban Nomads and the Challenges facing Mongolia’s Herders‘ in the Court Room at Senate House, University of London, from 6.30 pm to 8.45 pm on Wednesday, 27 February 2019.
The evening will feature a screening of the film Urban Nomads, followed by a panel discussion with the filmmaker Max Baring of Thomson Reuters Foundation and His Excellency Mr Tulga Narkhuu, the Ambassador of Mongolia to the UK, moderated by Dr Dwayne Ryan Menezes, Founder and Managing Director of Polar Research and Policy Initiative. The evening will also include a drinks reception to mark the third anniversary of Polar Research and Policy Initiative.
The event is hosted by Polar Research and Policy Initiative, in partnership with the Thomson Reuters Foundation. Tickets are £27.50 (excl. Eventbrite fees) per head and includes the screening, discussion and reception with wine and snacks.
