Polar Research and Policy Initiative (PRPI) will be present at the Arctic Circle Assembly 2015, in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The Arctic Circle is an annual open assembly that takes place in mid-October in Reykjavík, Iceland. The annual program is designed in collaboration with partnering organizations. The Arctic Circle facilitates working meetings across issues and organizations and provides a forum for discussions hosted by different international and Arctic institutions. Following meetings, participating organizations are invited to contribute ideas for the next year’s Arctic Circle assembly.
The annual Arctic Circle Assembly has become the largest international gathering on the Arctic, attended by more than 1500 participants from close to 50 countries. The Assembly is held every October at the Harpa Conference Center and Conference Hall in Reykjavík, Iceland. In addition, the Arctic Circle organizes smaller forums on specific subjects, such as the 2015 forums in Alaska and Singapore.
