On 6 November 2019, OneWeb convened “Completing the Arctic Circle” in London. Dr Dwayne Ryan Menezes, Founder and Managing Director of Polar Research and Policy Initiative, chaired the roundtable.
The discussion brought together representatives of aviation, maritime, energy and tourism businesses with researchers, NGOs and policymakers to examine Arctic connectivity and communications. Its findings informed OneWeb’s white paper, Polar Potential: The Arctic Could Exemplify Sustainable Development.
