Polar Research and Policy Initiative and Trent University co-hosted a dialogue on Arctic Borders at the Lord Elgin Hotel in Ottawa on 7 December 2017, during the second Borders in Globalization International Conference.

The event continued their 2017 collaboration on Arctic borders and regional security. Its date, venue and co-hosts are documented in the editorial preface to The North American Arctic: Themes in Regional Security, edited by Dwayne Ryan Menezes and Heather N. Nicol.
