THE Arctic Atlas

The Arctic Atlas

Learn more about places across the Arctic. Select a marker or a place below for geography, population, peoples, livelihoods, and articles from our Library.

It is the deliberate intention of this project never to be finalised or completed. The Arctic Atlas is designed to remain a work in progress throughout its lifespan, reflecting the reality that the Arctic is not a static, frozen frontier, but a dynamic homeland that is alive, adapting and continuously evolving. It is a region where cooperation and collaboration are fundamental to realising the hope not just of human survival, but of true human flourishing.

Embodying that very spirit, this atlas is a collaborative venture that seeks to capture the fluid and changing nature of the region. As we continually map this evolving landscape, we invite you to be part of its growth. Please send us your thoughts, insights and recommendations on what should be added next to the Arctic Atlas.
