Dr Rozelle C Kane (MBBS BChir Cantab, MA Oxon) is a clinician with an interest in integrative medical practice and a background in Psychology (accredited member of the British Psychological Society) and Neuroscience. She has led white papers for ‘The future of the Mind’ think-tank with Baroness Susan Greenfield and is responsible for a number of projects bringing psychology principles to a wider audience.
She was a nutritional and medical advisor to Sir Ranulph Fiennes’s last world record attempt, to cross the Antarctic in winter, and is an independent consultant on novel food products, including developing a wider audience for such foods.
Her expertise is well suited to Polar Research and Policy Initiative, particularly in relation to the region’s agroeconomical challenges and the needs around mental health and health service provision.
Dr Kane has a keen interest in exploration and travel; she is particularly fond of exploring in challenging climes.
