Greg Sharp serves as a Contributor in the Energy Unit at Polar Research and Policy Initiative.
A PhD student at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Greg also holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from the same university and a Master of International Public Management in Diplomacy from Sciences Po: PSIA.
Although his research has largely focused on the geopolitical ramifications of extractive industries in the Arctic, his work runs the gamut from devolution agreements in Canada’s North to questions of regional security.
Greg works as a Research Associate, and as part of the editorial team, at The Arctic Institute. Previously he has worked in France, Belgium, Iceland, and Canada for a variety of think tanks and consulting firms.
